William T. O'Keeffe is a founding partner of the law firm of OKeeffe & McCann LLP, a general practice law firm with offices throughout the Hudson Valley. After graduating with honors from Fordham University College of Business Administration, William went on to graduate with honors from Fordham University School of Law. William OKeeffe was commissioned an Officer in the United States Army, being branched Military Intelligence, and later, the Army's Judge Advocate General's Corp. After law school, William accepted an associate position at the law office of Frederick J. Murphy & Associates, focusing on representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in personal injury litigation, and was later elevated to Partner. In 2001, William and his colleague, Michael P. McCann founded the law firm of O'Keeffe & McCann LLP, offering services in the areas of Personal Injury, Real Estate, Adoption, Immigration, Wills & Estates, and Small Business Law. William OKeeffe is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, and the Federal District Court(Southern and Northern Districts) of New York. William is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Association of the United States Army, American Immigration Lawyers' Association and the Adoption Group of Orange County. Michael P. McCann is a founding partner of the law firm of OKeeffe & McCann LLP. While working full time as a federal corrections officer, Michael worked his way through Pace University School of law, serving on the Law Review and graduating with honors. After having gained extensive experience as a trial attorney at the law office of Frederick J. Murphy Associates, Michael McCann co-founded the law firm of O'Keeffe & McCann LLP, offering general practice services for clients throughout the Hudson Valley. Since then, Michael has developed expertise in the areas of personal injury litigation, and real estate practice. Michael has often lectured on the challenges of short-sale procedures. Michael McCann is admitted to practice before the Bar of the State of New York. Michael is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
